Coaching Role for the OMHA Summer Hockey League:

It is essential that we have coaches on the bench who maintain a professional attitude and act as a positive role model at all times. It is important to note that compared to a traditional winter hockey season there is a more narrow scope of responsibility in the role as a coach in the Summer Hockey League. This league is strictly for the play of fun games, with no practice or instruction time. Knowing this, it is imperative coaches uphold the key principals for this league which are fun, fair play and equal ice time at all times. Shouting at players or the berating of Officials will not be tolerated. Teams will require 1 head coach and 1-2 assistants who will assist with game play from the bench.
